Tour and Talk

Please join as at World Wildlife Fund’s U.S. headquarters office in Washington to learn more about their green roof as well as other sustainability aspects of their building.
We will also have the opportunity to tour the green roof. Our host will be Hermione Phillips. As the Facilities Manager for World Wildlife Fund, Hermione Phillips directs all building operations at the environmental conservation organization’s U.S. Headquarters quadruple LEED Platinum building in Washington, D.C. She is the driving force behind instituting and monitoring green workplace practices that are consistent with WWF’s conservation mission. She was directly involved with the installation of the third largest green roof in the Nation’s Capital, quadruple LEED Platinum certification, recipient of The Building of the Year (TOBY) award for the Green Building of the Year, energy star certification 89, tenant and landlord project integration, and a robust recycling program.
